Vacation almost over
Booo…I only have one more day of vacation after today. It makes me so sad. I know I’m not gonna be able to walk after I work Thursday! Last night we had Shane and Deann over for dinner. It was so much fun. I really miss fellowshipping. It seems like Aaron and I have gotten to be such couch potatoes. We never come out of our little hole to see what everyone else is up to. I don’t even think they cared that I didn’t mop the floor! lol..this is seriously what will stop me from inviting you over! Deann taught me her couponing secrets. I can’t believe how complicated some of it is! I am really excited about trying it out. I can’t wait to have my own “coupon bible”. I’ve been reading a lot about frugal living since Sarah had been posting stuff. I really want to be a better steward, and do things to help the environment. Anyone who wants to learn a new craft needs to come to the class at church tomorrow at 10. I am seriously just going to practice sewing buttons tomorrow (can you believe I don’t know how?). I finished part of my baby blanket so I’m also gonna start the matching burp cloth. If you don’t want to learn to sew there are women who can teach knitting, crocheting, smocking, embroidery, cross stitch, or even crafts like making cards. It’s kind of a plethora of talents and crafts. I enjoyed the fellowship last week more than anything! Well, this is me rambling so I’ll stop. Hope everyone has a great day. My big ultrasound is this afternoon. I can’t wait for Aaron to see she’s really a Molly in there!!!!! I’ll try to scan some pics (Sarah I will need your help with this flickr business)
Sooo tired!!
I am exhausted, and not just because of this blueberry in my belly (that’s how big she/he is this week). I just wrapped up my 3rd 12 hr shift today. We have been so busy the last 2 days. Crazy, lots of sick old people, busy. Yesterday we had a 26yr old gun shot wound that died and his family went insane. His fiancee inadvertently assaulted a poor 71 yr old lady in the waiting room with her keys and her fists. She completely lost it. The poor old lady later told me that she thought she had been shot. Poor thing, and it was her birthday too. They ended up having to call a swat team and special gang unit in because it was a gang shooting and they confiscated several guns and weapons from the visitors. It was scary. Then we had a stab victim this morning. He is the reason I didn’t get breakfast. Then we were so busy the rest of the day I didn’t sit, pee, or eat. I am wasted! I read in our baby book that a pregnant woman’s body at rest is working harder than someone running a triathalon. I feel like I ran a triathalon today!! Well, that’s about it. Nothing exciting. Oh, and don’t forget Amber Green’s baby shower is tomorrow night!
First Doctor’s Visit
Well, nothing too exciting. Just the usual pee in a cup and blood draw. I’m due Dec 20 (approx). I get my first Ultrasound in about 2 wks. He’s gonna call to schedule it once we get the blood results back. Things look good though. We went to Barnes and Noble and bough a couple pregnancy/baby books that I’m sure will never really get read. Well I have to go show Aaron how to properly jump rope. More updates in the future.
